The journal is published biannually in April and October and provides immediate open access to support the global exchange of legal knowledge.
The journal publishes original research articles and review studies focusing on criminal law, criminology, victimology, and contemporary criminal justice issues. Its scope includes criminal law and procedure, counter-terrorism law, cybercrime, radicalization and deradicalization, transnational crime, victim-centered justice, penology, corrections, and criminal justice system studies.
